Just bought this 1300cc Flathead (80" Flattie)

One of this winters projects will be assembling this 80" Flattie that I bought yesterday. Very excited to be putting it together from scratch. New pistons, S&S flywheel, new valves, new valveguides, new gasket-set etc. You gotta make the best of the dark winters up north!

I might have a complete, running, Plug&Play, 74" Flattie up for sale some time after new years. Stay tuned.

Bacon Run

Røde's place in Møn is on an island in the south-east part of Denmark, and it was the destination for this years possibly last trip before winter and rain sets in. It was actually raining all the way down anyway, but the trip was fine nonetheless. We could even sleep on the porch, albeit on a proper foundation of alcohol of course. I don't think I've ever had so much bacon in 48 hours before...my beard is still greasy.

Ærø: Last weekend of summer

We went to Lau's place in Ærø again - one last time this summer, and the weather was totally awesome. The others had already left on Friday afternoon, so I headed out on Saturday 6am onto an open freeway all the way through to Svendborg. The trip home was a Sunday night-time ride with light fog, riding solo. Thought the cops were pulling me over at one point, but it was some other biker with no license-plate that was screwing around right behind me...so I just kept riding through the blue flashes, insisting that it wasn't me they were pulling over. It worked. Great trip. Great weekend. Great people.

And here are a fews pics from previous trips to Ærø this summer - in no particular order:
